Conditions for participation of models at the BKFW show
- A Model (a parent) independently submits an application for participation at the show using the BKFW.LV website.
- A Model participates at a single show of a single designer on a single day (single appearance).
- A Model arrives at the show with clean hair treated with a hair balm.
- A Model participates at the show without any tattoos – stickers, decorative elements, as well as without any nail polish on finger and toe nails.
- All and any disputable issues should be solved by one of the parents with the organisers in a peaceful manner. In the event of a conflict situation, the participant may be disqualified.
- Parents do not take part in choosing or changing the Model's clothing; this is done by a Designer.
- Parents do not take part in the preparatory work of the event and a Designer's show.
- A Model shall appear in his/her show shoes (brought with him/her) which have been approved by the organisers beforehand.
- Children-models participate at the show in comfortable shoes without heels.
- Show shoes – a pair of clean, new, well-fitting shoes.
- The underwear of the models should be light or skin colour, without vivid patterns and cartoon characters.
- Models above 12+ years of age participate at the show in a bra without cups or in a sports bra or without it. Colours: white, skin colour.
- Models of age up to 12 years do not wear a bra under the show clothing.
- A Model's participation at the show may be cancelled in the event the Model is more than 30 minutes late for a rehearsal.
- During the preparatory process, Models of age up to 7 years are always accompanied by their mothers.
- Mothers of Models aged 8+ years arrive at the beginning of the show.
- If willing, Models can wear T-shirts of the agencies they represent.
- Models must not play around at the premises where preparatory works for the show are being carried out.
- In case of failure to follow the rules of conduct by the Model, one of the parents may have to accompany the child. Should the situation fail to improve, the Model shall be disqualified.
- Mothers are asked not to insist on continued participation at the show in case the young Models are tired; instead, they are encouraged to not worry and enjoy the show by finding a suitable seat in the show room. We will not react in any negative way to a wilful cancellation of participation at the show.
- In case a child is not able to participate at the show or to make an appearance on the runway due to any reason, the participation fee will not be returned.
- All parents sign an agreement regarding the taking of photos and the publishing of their child's photos. A child is not allowed to participate at the show if such an agreement has not been signed. The agreement is signed by only one of the parents on the day of the show (the parents have to have their and their child's data). (The agreement is sent in advance, upon request of one of the parents).
- Two weeks before the event, the organizers will create a Telegram channel dedicated to the specific event and describing all terms and conditions of the event, as well as all aspects of preparing the Models. All parents should subscribe to the channel and carefully familiarise themselves with all recommendations. Children, especially the older ones, can also subscribe to the channel. All persons will be sent a link to the channel (Telegram application should be downloaded first). The channel will be run in Russian. In case the participant does not speak Russian, there is a possibility to contact the manager in English directly in order to receive all instructions via the WhatsApp application.
- Each parent receives an invitation for two persons.
- Contact the organisers to find out about the possibility of inviting additional guests to the show.
- In case a child is unable to participate due to any reason, the fee will not be returned.
